Andre Vehreschild

Andre Vehreschild is a computer scientist interested in high-performance
computing, compiler construction, and automatic differentiation. 

He has a Ph.D. in computer science on Automatic Differentiation for MATLAB TM from the
RWTH Aachen University, Germany. While working at the university’s center for
computing and communication, he conducted research and taught at the local supercomputer facility. 

He later assumed responsibility for the key component of a high-performance search engine
for touristic offers. Now he is a freelancer working on the stability and standard coverage of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) Fortran front end (gfortran) and other Fortran codes. 

He holds a diploma and a Ph.D. in computer science from RWTH Aachen University.
